THE BAND

Three-piece alternative progressive rock band. Brighton, UK. Drawing influences from a wide range of artists and styles, blurring lines between genres. Think Deftones, Thrice, Glassjaw.

THE EP

2020 has been an incredibly tough year for many, and MWT are no exception. With the EP engineered and produced back in 2019 by Mark Roberts (Black Peaks, Toska, Broker, The Physics House Band), and the band braced to release with their sights set on a year of nationwide touring and new music, the unexpected arrival of Coronavirus hit, unable to meet as a band, causing a 6 month delay to the release. But we are excited to finally present 'Hierarchy' the EP released September 2020, preceded by single & video for 'Sleepless' filmed within the depths of London's legendary alt / metal music venue The Underworld in Camden Town, the 2nd official music video after 2015's video for 'Under Duress', followed by 'Closed Eyes', the blinding new video out now. Produced by Wild Stag Studio (Fatboy Slim, Black Peaks, Toska).

A progression on the sounds and approach of our previous releases, each track also showcases a different musical vibe, with 'Closed Eyes' kicking things off in a calmer, more melodic fashion than the band have usually elected to pursue, followed by lead-track and single 'Sleepless' which early listeners have made comparisons with Deftones, closed by title track 'Hierarchy', taking the listener on a journey through a host of different sections and dynamic changes, with the frenetic tempo being the main constant.

PowerPlay Magazine:

"Closed Eyes has a great motion about it, diving between prog rock and straight metal, all enveloped in magnificent vocal harmonies" - 9/10

Metal Hammer:
"There's a dose of Deftones within this Brighton three-piece, but it's just a jumping-off point as the three tracks undergo emotional trials in real-time, amidst dynamic and dreamy bursts that unfurl to a genuine beat"

Metal Storm:
"Bleak and Abrasive, the turbulence of the music of Milk White Throat promises to grab you by the neck"

True Style Music:
"This three track EP is a great release from the band, with three bangers combining to create a masterpiece"
